DEF CON Middle East 2026

DEF CON Training is coming to the Middle East, bringing its hands-on, practitioner-led approach to cybersecurity training to Bahrain.

This year, the SensePost team will be delivering Hands-On Hacking Fundamentals — a practical introduction to offensive security designed to teach how attackers think, how vulnerabilities are discovered, and how real-world attacks are carried out.

Hands-On Hacking Fundamentals

Hands-On Hacking Fundamentals gives participants a practical foundation in penetration testing across:

  • Infrastructure and network hacking

  • Web application security

  • Wi-Fi attacks

  • Vulnerability discovery and exploitation

  • Reconnaissance and attack methodology

Delivered by active penetration testers and red teamers, the course combines essential theory with hands-on exercises in dedicated lab environments.

The focus is not just on tools, but on developing the mindset and methodology needed to approach unfamiliar targets, identify weaknesses, and turn them into meaningful attack paths.

Who should attend

The course is aimed at those looking to build or strengthen their foundation in offensive security, including:

  • Aspiring penetration testers and red teamers

  • Security analysts

  • Developers and system administrators

  • Defenders looking to better understand attacker techniques

No previous hacking experience is required, although some familiarity with networking, operating systems, and the command line is useful.
